TUBALL™ graphene nanotubes are used as a highly effective ESD/anti-static agent for polyurethane water-based latex. Being available on the market in the form of an easy-to-process water-based suspension, TUBALL™ LATEX, these nanotubes provide stable ESD properties to latex with an electrical resistance level of 106 Ω, preserving mechanical properties of the material.
Unlike conventional anti-static agents, including polymers, multi wall carbon nanotubes or carbon black, TUBALL™ LATEX contains pre-dispersed graphene nanotubes, ensuring stable anti-static properties, allows coloration, and does not require any changes to the standard production process of PU latex coatings.
Polyurethane latex enhanced with graphene nanotubes is often used for manufacturing gloves and other protective equipment including textiles, as only TUBALL™ graphene nanotubes are able to provide products with full compliance with the EN 16350 standard.
